Meet theAuthors

Ron Price

Ron’s journey with prayer began on August 4, 1971, when he prayed a simple, imperfect confession that marked the beginning of a lifelong relationship with God. That moment was not about having the right words or fully understanding faith, but about responding to God’s grace. Over the years, Ron’s prayer life has moved through many seasons, including passion and discipline, quiet waiting, intercession, and rediscovery.

Throughout his life, the Lord’s Prayer has remained a touchstone—continually drawing him back to the heart of God and shaping how he understands faith, surrender, and daily obedience. Ron believes prayer is not meant to be performative or formulaic, but relational: a way of aligning our hearts with God’s will and learning to trust Him through every season of life. His hope is to help others experience prayer as Jesus intended it—a simple, life-giving invitation to know God more deeply and walk faithfully in the world.

Heather Goetter

Heather has spent years helping authors bring clarity, depth, and heart to their work, particularly in projects centered on faith, growth, and transformation. As a writer and editor, she is drawn to faith that is lived, the kind that meets people in ordinary moments, questions, and struggles, rather than remaining abstract or theoretical.

In Touching Heaven, Walking Earth, Heather helped shape the study to be welcoming, practical, and deeply encouraging, especially for those who long to grow in prayer but feel overwhelmed or unsure where to begin. By combining Scripture, reflection, prayer, and small daily practices, her goal was to create a gentle rhythm that invites readers to slow down and experience God’s presence. Heather believes prayer is not meant to add pressure to our lives, but to offer space to breathe—to touch heaven while learning how to walk faithfully here on earth.
